Price: £70 for both days, £55 for the Saturday and £30 for the Sunday

Registration: You can register in advance at any class and have the option of paying in installments.

BATIZADO PARTY

The party takes place at the Dance Attic, Sat 12 December, from 8pm onwards. £4 entry fee including a FREE dance class

The Cordão de Ouro grading system was developed by Mestre Suassuna, and is colour coded.

Our Batizado (Baptism) which takes place twice a year, is an event with a ceremony and workshop where students receive their next grade.

The day itself is not a test, the belt and level you get is determined by your training frequency and skills you've developed over the year, not just playing capoeira, but other aspects of capoeira too, such as music, theory and history.

Beginners are especially welcome to take part in the batizado, to get the first green belt.
