The BATIZADO was created by Mestre Bimba as a form of grading his students level of Capoeira. The grading is based on discipline, attendance, knowledge and technique that you have shown in training leading up to the Batizado.

DESCRIPTION OF BOOK BY THE PUBLISHERS: Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art. It is marked by deft, tricky movements, often played on the ground, or completely inverted.
