Mestre Ze Antonio - Jose Antonio dos Santos de Almeida

Master Jose Antonio was born in Brazil in 1958. He is the master of Cordao de Ouro in Guaratingueta, and the father of Mestre Poncianinho.

He has been teaching capoeira for more than 25 years, and is the designer of the original Cordao de Ouro logo. He also manages a folk dance group that performs Brazilian and African folk dances, including capoeira. This show has been running successfully for over ten years.

Today Master Jose Antonio teaches capoeira in his academy for children, adults, and through the art of capoeira he is helping homeless children improve the quality of their lives.

Master Jose Antonio supervises the Cordão De Ouro London group, and he comes to London twice a year to give workshop classes and to supervise the batizado.
